Lightweight tiles are designed for reroof applications in which the roof structure or local codes dictate that lightweight products should be utilized. All Monierlifetile lightweight meet the sub 6-pounds per square foot standard. Lightweight tiles are not recommended for all geographical areas. MonierLifetile is not responsible to the extent that weather conditions affect its Lightweight tile in areas which are not recommended for its use.

MonierLifetile Standard Weight products are designed for use on both new construction and reroof projects and may be installed in all geographic areas. For reproofing applications using standard weight tile, a structural engineer should be consulted to determine if any structural reinforcement of the roof supports is necessary.
